Octopus Mousepad
A goofy illustration of everyone’s favorite creative cephalopod adorns the mousepads used by talented student designers.
After more than four years of being shuttled in and out of random office spaces, all of us at the Carolina Union Marketing & Design Department were so pleased to finally move into a space that was custom-designed for us. We were dismayed to discover, however, that the pretty, modern, white desks we’d selected for our collaborative workspace wouldn’t pick up the mouse lasers. Multitasking octopus mousepad to the rescue! This friendly critter will ensure that no one will ever have to use a taped-on piece of paper as a mousepad again, and he will inspire our student designers to embrace the many roles required by a career in design.
