Design Services, offered through the Marketing & Design Department, needed a branding overhaul. The “Marketing & Design Survival Kit” theme was conceived to present our services in an appealing and humorous way to students. A new wordmark was also created to complement the updated style. The campaign helps break the ice with student groups and university departments who might not otherwise know about our offerings. Rife with design puns and filled with useful information, a french-fold brochure explains the array of design options available and opens to a tabloid-size poster.

Other items include buttons, a notepad styled like a matchbook (“Fire up your group with some hot design.”), a water bottle (“Quench your thirst for good design!”), and paper bird that clients can cut out and assemble, decorated with one of many custom swatch patterns.
